Font Snob

November 2, 2016 West Design Design Inspiration

helvetica

I’m a bit font-obsessed, but perhaps, font snob is more accurate a label.
But let me tell you, there are thousands upon thousands of fonts to choose from, but most designers I know only use a select 3 or 4.
One of my frequent go-to’s still is Helvetica.  My affinity for Helvetica by no means makes me unique…but it appeals to all my bold and simplistic design tastes.  Designed in 1957 and still widely used by brands all over the world.  A poster child of the timeless nature of good design and a reminder that less is more, and new isn’t necessarily better…..more often than not.
